Day #5258 – (Wed., May 29, 2024) – Ukrainian Borscht

I sold some more NVDA in my ROTH (33 shares at $1,145.01 each for a total of $37,784.26), so with the $14,000 Cash I already had in the account, I now have a little over $50,000 US available as well for future needs.

We are having problems getting money from our US Bank Accounts into Canadian Bank Accounts in order to pay for the mortgage for our new home.

On the drive home we stopped off at the “Courtenay Country Market” at 5352 N Island Hwy. My wife picked up some Borscht (see photo to the right). I got a bag of ketchup chips (which I hadn’t had in a while, and Katie hated). There were two older ladies minding the cash register area. One was scanning the joint looking for shop lifters, and the other was upset that I dinged the bell on the counter for her assistance.

This evening my wife and I watched this W5 Episode about a house in Hampton, NS which is indispute by two own
