Anthony came over this morning to continue work on the garage. He brought Al with him, who helped him hoist and install the drywall. By the end of the day the drywall was up. Anthony tells me that the taping and mudding of the drywall is next, and will be time consuming.

Bobby and I both had not had a haircut since leaving CiCi in Chapel Hill, so today was the day! My wife made an appointment for us both at Edward & Parnell at 11 am today. When we arrived Oli (short for Olivia) greeted us, and took Bobby for a haircut first (see photo to the left). I gave him the option of going first or second and he chose second. With tip the charge came to $60 for two haircuts… We might shop around for a location with a cheaper price…
On the way home we stopped off at Wendy’s. Bobby wanted a cheeseburger kids meal, and a Frosty. I got Katie the same thing.
My wife arranged a playdate with a boy who will also be in 4th grade at Huband this year. His mother is from here and his father is from Nevada. They enjoyed paying on the playground together. Each boy brought a soccer ball but they didn’t use them.
This evening I wanted to get out so I ran some errands around town. I went to Hughes, the Independent Grocer, across the street from Smitty’s and picked my wife up some potting soil. I also went to Walmart where I picked up some rye bread for my wife and some snacks for the kids as orchestra camp is tomorrow!
