Day #5350 – (Thu., Aug. 29, 2024) – Roblox Magnetic Figures

The little clay Roblox figures have finally dried, so I used the magnets on the back to “attach” them the metal backdrop (see photo to the left). I’m planning on having a Daddy/Son Day soon so I can show Bobby what I’ve been up to and maybe we can even create a couple more figures together? I think that this will be a great little addition to his room when he wants it. He can use little pieces of paper with notes on them to keep track of upcoming assignments or play dates, and then attach them to the metal backdrop with a Roblox figure of his choosing. What a great little organizer!

Bobby had a playdate at Huband Elementary School this afternoon. Lucile, a girl in his class, brought another girl friend of hers who is a year younger. This younger girl has moved around a bit so she realizes what Bobby is going through and went out of her way to make him comfortable.

The drywall on the garage has been patched and sanded (see photo to the right). All that’s left is for the trim to be secured in place, which Anthony plans on doing on Saturday. I stopped off at Sherwin Williams near the 7-Eleven in Courtenay this afternoon to see about their paints. They guy behind the counter had some tips to make the job a while lot easier and faster.

I cleaned the chicken coop this evening and laid down fresh straw for them. I also took all the debris and dirt away from the gate so that it’s easier to enter now.

My wife and Katie are thinking of going to see Cirque du Soleil in Vancouver. The best route is probably taking the ferry from Nanaimo.
