Day #5384 – (Wed., Oct. 2, 2024) – Throwing Sandwiches In Class!
The kid’s Suzuki teacher has a rubber chicken that Bobby loves to squeeze. So much so in fact, we decided to get our own (see photo to the right). Actually one regular size one and two smaller ones. The smaller ones sound just like ducks… I think that they would make perfect duck calls. The regular size one is just the regular “annoying” noise that most people are familiar with. You can see it annoying Katie in the photo to the right.
Bobby has so many opportunities to run at Huband that his legs are bothering him. Recess, lunch, gym, they all give him an opportunity to run around. It’s nice to see a school system that realizes kids spend a lot of time in front of screens these days and adjusts their system accordingly.
I took a photo of Katie on the swing this evening. She’s all bundled up in her hoodie, and since there was little light available, it came out a bit like “modern art” (see photo to the left).
Katie told me that a student threw a sandwich at her group in class today in a “fun way”… Not sure exactly how you throw a sandwich at someone in a “fun way”. At any rate, the teacher made him clean it up!
Our apple tree next to the house has quite a few apples on it now. We need to pick them before the frost comes!
