Day #5386 – (Fri., Oct. 4, 2024) – 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid!
The US Election is one month from today… “Pins & Needles”…
Katie went to school today but Bobby is still home sick. My wife put him to bed for a nap this afternoon, and after he was “out” (i.e.: he slept for only 1.5 hours), we drove to Waypoint to get our insurance rate adjusted. Now that she has a BC Driver’s License, we get lower auto insurance rates…
Both my wife and I picked up Katie at Vanier in the van this afternoon. We then went to the Comox Valley Toyota dealership to take a look at a 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid that just became available (see photo to the right). It’s “Charcoal Gray” in color, and I took it out for a spin with my wife, and Katie, and the saleslady in the back seat. No major problems or issues, and the only thing that shows on the record of this one owner car is that they got their windshield replaced. So, we bought it! We put $2000 down on the credit card to secure it, and will pay the remainder next week. We can then drive it home!
