Day #403 (Thu., Feb. 10, 2011) – Katie Loves Fish!

I went to Trader Joe’s in Raleigh to get some yogurt for Katie. They were out, so I decided to risk it and go to Trader Joe’s in Cary. I was right, they were out there as well. The next plan was to go get some Yo-Baby Vanilla Yogurt from Harris-Teeter. Success!

We had baked fish tonight, so my wife decided to give some to Katie. She put it on the tray attached to her high chair. Katie loved it. Not only was it an interesting taste, she could feed herself, which she likes.

2011-02-10 - Winnie The Pooh Puzzle

We have started to assemble the foam Winnie The Pooh puzzle pieces (see photo to the left) into cubes for Katie. She loves to rip them apart. We bought this toy at the huge consignment sale we went to in Raleigh a few weeks back. I hesitated on purchasing it as it was full price…not half price as were many of the items on sale. I’m glad I did purchase it. Not only do the various foam pieces fit together, you can push a little foam piece out from the center (for example, the Winnie the Pooh piece shown in the photo to the left). Each of the 12 pieces represents a month of the year, and the picture denotes an activity during that month. As you can see in the photo, Winnie is celebrating New Years in January. What a great way for Katie to learn the months of the year when she gets a bit older.

It’s funny to see Katie in the high chair reading a book. She looks like an old man who is reading the newspaper at the dining room table.
