Day #5391 – (Wed., Oct. 9, 2024) – Hurricane Milton!
Hurricane Milton, which they are calling a “Once In A Lifetime Storm” is barreling towards Tampa as I write this. They have run out of gas and those who are left have been told to “Shelter In Place”… I asked Bing’s Copilot to draw me a picture (see image to the left!)
Anthony is back to install the lights in the main house. The garage doors were working yesterday, but today they are not… Fuse problem perhaps?
Our neighbor is getting rid of a sofa set, so we grabbed it up for the garage. You can see it in the photo to the right in front of the new “welding station”. It will make a great place to relax and watch the movies on the wall once we get the projector! We also plan to get a microwave from Walmart.
We received our funds from NVDA stock, but we can’t pick up the 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid as it needs a new tire and they are waiting for the part to arrive. They said that they have a backlog of tire requests, so I’m not sure when we will get the car. We were hoping to get it by Friday so that I would not have to drive my wife and Katie to Nanaimo so they can take the ferry to Vancouver for the long Canadian Thanksgiving weekend!
