Day #5406 – (Thu., Oct. 24, 2024) – Halloween Decorations!
Katie went to school today, but Bobby is home. He started to perk up later in the day…
Katie has been wanting skeleton Halloween decorations, and my wife relented (see photo to the left). Plans are to put two on the fence and two on the balcony off of Bobby’s room. We still need to carve some pumpkins and determine the kid’s Halloween costumes!
I went to Canadian Tire this afternoon to determine if one of their 0.7 size microwaves would hold the silicone popcorn popper I purchased the other day. It does! I was going to buy it, but when they wanted $99.99 instead of the advertised $79.99, I balked… I think I might go back and get it even if it isn’t on sale…the price is that good. It also avoids all the hassle of Amazon. If it doesn’t work or breaks down after 60 days I just drive to Canadian Tire and return it. We plan to put it in our garage so we can have fresh popcorn on our movie nights!
Bobby was feeling much better later on in the day. So much so that he made a Minecraft head out of a cardboard box (see photo to the right).
