I arrived in Vancouver early this morning. My flight to Comox is this afternoon, so I have quite the wait ahead of me… No problem, more time to relax, eat, and read my Kindle.

A couple of funny things happened while waiting for my Comox flight. I was sitting on one of the chairs, charging my iPhone and Kindle, and a little Maltese type dog came and jumped on my lap. The “unamused” owner came and rushed it back into it’s cage, which it escaped from.
Next up was a little Indian girl who sat beside me. When she got up to leave and follow her father she left her little doll behind. My legs were too tired and sore to run after her, so I yelled out “Excuse Me”. After yelling this out two or three times with greater intensity, she heard me, and came back for the doll. Her father asked her if she thanked me or not, and she did…
Bobby lost another tooth today (see photo to the right).
The Comox flight was delayed 2 or 3 times. Something wrong with the tail section, and then the nasty windy rainy weather. We finally got away but my umbrella “popped” from all the wind as I exited the plane in Comox. My wife and Katie were waiting for me in the “Newly Batteried” van across the street from the arrivals area.
We drove home and had a nice feast of Chinese food. After giving the kids their t-shirts, and my wife her pen, I ventured back to the “Barn Suite” where I slept and slept and slept…
