Day #5439 – (Tue., Nov. 26, 2024) – Blue Candies

Katie went to school today but Bobby is home. He threw up yesterday.

At noon today my wife went to see a piano concert with Deena, our neighbor, Bowen’s mother.

I went shopping this afternoon and picked up some “blue candies” for my wife at Bulk Barn (see photo to the right). She is going to use them in the recipe for the cookies she is making for the “Christmas Cookie Exchange” that Amanda organized. I also picked up some sponge toffee, which the kids liked, but found very sticky…

This evening my wife and Katie went to the “Brewery” tonight to learn how to make Christmas wreaths (see photo to the left).

I sent the 2024 Advent Calendar photos to my wife to print out on our new color laser printer. Alas, it’s in 11″ x 14″ format, so we either need to get this new size of paper, or chop up the graphic. Let’s try chopping up the graphic first…

I’m in the process of buying a computer and accessories to run Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. It needs a machine with a lot of “grunt” to run all those graphics, and a NVDA graphics card as well. I guess it’s another way to support NVDA the company, buying their products. Bobby will love playing it as well. Katie, perhaps…
