Day #411 (Fri., Feb. 18, 2011) – Feed Me Faster!
Our babysitter was off today so my wife took Katie out for a stroll. She told me that she is already missing her. Our babysitter is such a great find. She has been making our lives so much easier…and Katie loves her.
My wife went to the consignment sale in downtown Cary this evening. It is usually on Saturday morning, but they switched it to Friday night for some reason. I drove Katie around in the car while my wife shopped. My wife got a couple of nice pairs of shoes for Katie (see photo to the right). Very “girlish”, and my wife paid only $3.00 per pair. She also got a puzzle for Katie for $3.00, and a book that has “googley eyes”.
This evening Katie walked from the couch to my wife’s laptop and then from my wife’s laptop back to the couch. Before too long she will be running around.
This evening Katie got into the bag of books that my wife got at the consignment sale this evening. She loved the process of grabbing a book out of the bag, looking at it, throwing it to the side, and getting another one out of the bag.
Katie was extremely hungry this evening. She ate double of what she usually eats. She didn’t need a book or any entertainment. In fact, she was screaming at her mother that she was not feeding her fast enough.
