Bobby is home sick today but Katie went to school. He told me that he is having problems with the editor so has not been able to upload a video to his YouTube channel as of late.
I picked up my daughter after school today, and we drove around town, effectively Daddy/Daughter Chat #25. Of course we ended up at McDonalds first for a “2 Cheeseburger EVM” Extra Value Meal. Most of the drives I have with Katie and Bobby tend to incorporate this fast food joint…

We ended up in downtown Comox where we saw a Tesla Cybertruck (see photo to the right). Katie made a comment on how ugly it was, which I agreed. I told that they were having problems making money on them as they were a lot harder to build than other Tesla cars. With the other cars, they incorporate their “GigaPress Technology”, which means they press a big sheet of steel into the one shape, effectively dispensing with the need to screw and bolt a lot of the other parts to the framework of the car. For some reason this is a lot harder on a Cybertruck.
We also saw some deer on the nearby golf course, and one of them was peeing… 🙂
My wife spent all day gathering paperwork and filling out forms so that we can get some of our dental bills here paid by her insurance. Our dental bills here are in the thousands, so hopefully we can get some of this money back!
