Bobby is feeling better and went to school this morning. Katie has a “flex day” today, so she is home… She is selecting outfits for this summer to lift her spirits (see photo to the left). She wants to learn how to sew at some point.
Ken came over to look at our automatic gate again this morning. No news as of yet on whether he will be able to fix it or not. If he can’t fix it, I think we won’t bother getting a new one for this, the second gate to our property. Maureen, the previous owner, had it to keep her donkey’s out of the garden. Since we don’t have donkeys, we can get by with just automating the front gate to the property. The question remains, who to get to do this…
I picked up Bobby after school this afternoon. On the way back home I showed him the lot where our neighbor down the road put up all those 70s Christmas decorations like a “Wooden Santa & Sleigh” and “Wooden Manger Scene”. They are all taken down now, ready for next year. He put a lot of stuff up, so it must taken him quite a while to take it all down again…
I went to Costco this afternoon for supplies. Katie wanted some milk chocolate bars and potato chips. My wife wanted cucumbers and the customary 2% gallons of milk. I also picked up some Pringles to surprise Bobby. He was elated! My wife told me that they have orange juice in one of the fridges. I think I might know where it is…
I have a dentist appointment tomorrow and they called to see if they could move it to 10:30 am. I agreed, that time actually works better for us.
