Day #5501 – (Mon., Jan. 27, 2025) – Kid’s Canadian Passports
Both kids are home today. Bobby is still not feeling well, and Katie’s teachers are having a “Teacher Work Day” to get ready for their new semester, which beings tomorrow. No more “Board Games” for Katie, but she will be taking “Guitar Class” this semester!
My wife and I took the kids to get their passports this afternoon. As it turns out, we didn’t nee to take them, just the application forms. They will be receiving their Canadian passports in about a week or so.
When we got home Bobby and I put new bungee cords on the tarp over the sand box (see photo to the right). This will help keep the sandbox dry from rain, a problem that we have been having since the previous elastics broke off. We had to put some sand into the wheelbarrow in order to shift the sandbox into place, and then put the sand back. The sandbox was just too heavy to move with all that sand in it.
After fixing the sandbox Bobby wanted to do some wood splitting with the axe, then we played some billiards. I guess you could call this Daddy/Son Day #90. Healthy…not a McDonald’s cheeseburger in sight…
