Day #5503 – (Wed., Jan. 29, 2025) – Laser Tag Kit
Bobby is home sick today. My wife was going to take him to the doctor but he said that he would go to school tomorrow… Katie went to school today.
We are in the process of getting Australian Citizenship for the kids. We called the Australian Consulate in Vancouver, but they said to call Australia, so we did. They said that we should fill out the application, and use a guarantor from Canada, despite the fact that we have not been here for a full year. We are thinking of getting Bobby’s teacher and Katie’s math teacher for this…
We also have not received Katie’s year end form from the US Social Security office. We received mine, and Bobby’s, but not Katie’s for some reason. We called their office in Washington State and they confirmed that the address on all three of us is Courtenay, so no idea why Katie’s has not arrived yet.
Bobby’s laser tag kit came today. He demoed them for me this evening (see photo to the right). The various settings had me explaining the difference between a shotgun and a rifle.
We’re thinking of having Dominik and Brodie over this weekend to play with them. They are “technically” his birthday present, but I’m sure something else will come by the time that rolls around. Oh, by the way, I learned that not only Dairy Queen, but Quality Foods, sells ice cream cakes!
Katie reported that gym went well today, but she did get hit in the face with a dodgeball… No lasting damage!
