We learned that Maureen’s mom (the lady who sold us our house) broke her hip on February 5th and went to the hospital. She started to get better, but passed away this past Friday.
Ken showed up at our gate to try another thing, but alas, the automatic gate still doesn’t work. He plans to call up the company and see if he can’t get us a free automatic gate opener as this one broke down. He’s persistent. We appreciate his help!
My wife took Bobby to see the doctor this morning. He said that he heard something in Bobby’s lungs and that he needs to breathe in deeply with his inhaler. He ordered bloodwork, x-rays, and antibiotics for Bobby as well.
My wife took the kids to Staples this morning to get their photos taken for their Australian Citizenship Form. We will get Katie’s math teacher, and Bobby’s teacher Mrs. Nelson to sign them before sending them off. Incidentally, Mrs. Nelson’s husband is Australian.

Katie and I went for a drive this afternoon. We saw a deer family as we drove around. The make deer was moving erratically and very slow (see photo to the right), we thought it might be sick…
Katie got extending on board games! Extending is the term that they used for excellent. The teacher’s comment was: “Actively participates in board games, works well with her peers, and brings enthusiasm to all games presented”.
My wife learned that radiology is crazy busy at 8 am, so the plan is to do a lab appointment at 9:15 am before that.
