Day #5518 – (Thu., Feb. 13, 2025) – Bobby’s Canadian Passport Arrives
Both kids went to school today but Bobby called from the Huband Elementary front office at 1 pm this afternoon requesting to be picked up. It was his teacher Ms. Nelson’s idea to make his first day easier for him.
We got Bobby’s Canadian passport in the mail today! My wife also dropped off a book that Bobby was reading at the downtown library in Courtenay. She then went to Staples to mail back some Amazon returns via UPS.
The kids had their viola/violin lessons via zoom this evening. Katie wasn’t feeling up to going so this was the next best option to just missing them. You can see the “Maestro” in the photo to the left.
I still have this nasty cough, the same one my wife and son have. Despite this, I still had a bit of energy to clean up the kitchen in the “Barn Suite”. Gradually getting things the way that I like them.
Tomorrow Katie’s school schedule is the same as today.
