My wife and I went to BC Services this morning to sign an affidavit for our 2024 taxes as we haven’t completed our 2024 tax return yet. McKesson needs this to give us a cut rate on prescription drugs.

The fifth Beatle dons a monocle (see photo to the left)! Bobby and I sure do need haircuts. This has been postponed for weeks as both he and I have been sick! His leg is feeling better so he should be able to go to soccer practice next week.
Katie is starting to feel better. Her mom and her went over flash cards for science so she is feeling confident about her test tomorrow. They even found time to play a bit of tennis in the driveway this afternoon.
The sole hen is letting me pet her more and more. She is less skittish of me every time I try. I’m checking the nesting area for eggs, but none yet. I put extra bedding in them just in case… I found this “snub nose” shovel next to the nesting area this evening (see photo to the right). I was thinking that we should get one of those. It’s amazing how many things you find on this property if you just look around Maureen seems to have thought of everything…and it’s all high quality stuff as well.
I asked Copilot about the tariffs that Trump announced today, and here is what it said:
President Trump unveiled sweeping tariffs today, dubbing it “Liberation Day.” He announced a 10% baseline tariff on all imports, with additional reciprocal tariffs targeting 60 nations, including China, India, and the European Union. These reciprocal tariffs aim to match or partially offset the rates these countries impose on U.S. exports.
Trump emphasized that the tariffs are designed to boost domestic manufacturing and reduce trade deficits, but economists warn they could lead to higher consumer prices and inflation. Canada and Mexico are exempt from the new tariffs due to prior agreements.
