Day #5586 – (Tue., Apr. 22, 2025) – Another Ball To The Head!

Easter is over and both kids are back at school today.

Our property is so nice in the spring with the cool breeze and sunny skies. Dandelions are in full bloom now (see photo to the right).

I called up Scott, at Garage Door Depot, and he is going to swing by tomorrow at 10 am to see about installing a new automatic gate for us.

Bobby was sitting on the sidelines and got hit in the head with a soccer ball so he called up his mom and left school early today. His head hurt, and a bit of a nauseated stomach, but we don’t think it is too serious. He went to bed for a nap when he got home. This poor kid can’t catch a break when it comes to soccer balls hitting him in the head!

The house down the road at the corner of Gibson and Childs is for sale. It has only 3 bedrooms, and way less land, and they want $1,200,000 for it! We really did get a great deal on our property!

I got a note from ETrade that they have transferred $8000 from my ROTH to my Fidelity ROTH. I was successfully able to “wire” funds from my Fidelity ROTH to my RBC account here in Canada, so this is the preferred method to get money out of the US now. ETrade ROTH –> Fidelity ROTH –> Wire to RBC Canada!

Bobby is not a happy camper this evening. His iPad is not charging. It feels like the plug is not fitting into the slot properly. I told my wife to take the vacuum cleaner and clean it out with a blast of air. I had a similar problem with my Android phone a few years ago.
