Day #5587 – (Wed., Apr. 23, 2025) – Scott The Gate Guy!
Scott from “Garage Door Depot” came out to see our property this morning. We’re going to get him to put in a new automated gate for us. He said that it would take between 6-8 weeks and cost between $8,000 to $10,000 which is about what we expected. He showed us a number of gate options from his supplier “Billy Gates”, and we picked two that we like (see photo to the right). Katie likes both of them but has a preference for the second one. My wife doesn’t like the hole in the second one. Stay tuned for the final decision…
Katie went to school this morning but Bobby is home still recovering from the “Ball To The Head”. Katie asked her mom to pick her up early as she finished her work early and English is boring…
My wife and I finally managed to get our mortgage to show up in our online RBC accounts this afternoon.
Katie says that she is getting more and more comfortable in school. At least the “near panic attacks” are diminishing. She doesn’t have guitar as an elective this semester, but she does have a couple of friends in the new cooking class she is taking.
