Day #5588 – (Thu., Apr. 24, 2025) – Kristina Visits!
Bobby is home sick but Katie went to school. I picked her up this afternoon. She is thinking of joining a volleyball team as she really misses it. I told her that playing both viola and volleyball would look good on any college application. She made some little energy balls in cooking class today (see photo to the right).
I took Katie out to Daisy’s place in Royston for her viola lesson this evening. My wife usually takes the kids to viola/violin class but her friend Kristina is visiting us today from Victoria. Bobby is still not well enough to go to any lessons.
After dropping Katie off I went to Walmart to shop around. I should have brought my Kindle to read but I forgot. After about an hour and a half she texted me to come pick her up. We then drove around and ended up at McDonalds for Daddy/Daughter Chat Day #28.
Kristina and my wife went hiking in Seal Bay. For dinner this evening they had cabbage rolls. Bobby had a sandwich and Katie finished off the 2nd cheeseburger we got at McDonalds.
I told Katie to try and not “flaunt” the McDonalds that she picks up in front of Bobby. He really likes the stuff and we are trying to cut back on it for him.
