Day #5590 – (Sat., Apr. 26, 2025) – Free Hospital Plushie!

My wife took Bobby to Urgent Care this morning and they wanted to do another mono test so they went to the hospital. The test came back negative later in the day, but the nurse did give him a plushie, which was nice (see photo to the right).

Bobby really wanted a parfait and some drinkable yogurts so I picked them up when I went shopping this afternoon. They had a sale on drinkable yogurts at Walmart, but I went to Thrifty’s for the parfaits. There were only two on the shelf. One for Katie and one for Bobby. The kids both loved them, but Bobby did complain that it was too small.

My wife is having problems with her knee. She is thinking of getting her brother’s doctor, who is the physician for the Lithuanian Olympic Team, to look at it when she visits this summer.

My wife and Katie played volleyball this afternoon in the crisp air and bright sun of the Comox Valley. Bobby is still recovering and took a bath.

I was thinking… If the US starts to experience severe shortages and empty shelves in 2-3 weeks due to the tariff policy, they will be coming up to Canada for supplies. That will be really good for our economy!
