Day #441 (Sun., Mar. 20, 2011) – Stacking The Rings
When Katie is going anywhere these days she prefers to walk if she can. She will crawl from time-to-time, but soon this mode of locomotion will be a thing of the past.
I took Katie out for a walk this afternoon. We stopped off at the bench near the lake and I took her out of the stroller and gave her some cheerios to munch on. She started to follow a duck in the direction of the water so I had to keep an eye on her.
It’s hard to pick things up with your mittens on…as you can tell in the photo to the right.
My wife was cleaning the refrigerator this evening and Katie loved to organize all the bottles that she was going to throw away.
Katie is really enjoying stacking the rings in the stacking toy we got her at the consignment sale a while back. She still hasn’t figured out that the largest ring goes on the bottom, but that will come with time.
