Day #467 (Fri., Apr. 15, 2011) – Better You Than Me
My wife had breakfast with her boss yesterday and took Katie along. Katie enjoyed running around and checking out all the flowers. They fed her some grapes and strawberries.
At lunchtime today I went to the Dollar Store to pick up some Easter supplies for Katie. I will write more about them next Sunday (when Easter rolls around). I can tell you that I got a nice pink ball for Katie (see photo to the left). The other balls she has are either a bit too big or a bit too small. This one is just the right size.
In the afternoon a fellow student of my wife came over for a walk around Bond Park. She brought her daughter who is a bit younger than Katie. My wife picked up her little one, but Katie was not jealous in the least. I have often commented on how much Katie hates to be held…she probably pitied the poor little girl and said to herself “better you than me”. That poor little girl was beaming with happiness.
