Day #484 (Mon., May 2, 2011) – Chasing Katie
I don’t know what it is about Katie’s fascination with cars and trucks. Whenever she sees a car she will walk along beside it and pat it. She will then get down and examine the hubcaps. Perhaps we have a mechanic amongst us?
Yesterday I wrote of how Katie was fascinated with the guy who was washing his truck. You can see the photo to the left. It’s good I had the harness on her as she was so eager to see what was going on I had to keep her away. In fact, I had a hard time taking her back home. She wanted to stay and watch and as I tried to take her away she would try to wander back.
I stopped off at Trader Joe’s on the way home from work today. I got some oranges for Katie (she has been asking for them), but they didn’t have any yogurt. I’ll have to stop off at Harris-Teeter on the way home from work tomorrow to pick some up.
This evening I let Katie chase me around the hallways from the kitchen … to the livingroom … to the dining room… She lost track of me and started to get upset so I let her catch me.
