Day #486 (Wed., May 4, 2011) – Dollar Store Broom
Katie is 16 months old today! I see that one year ago today Katie was busy giving the Jumperoo a workout. It’s all packed away now. My how time flies…
I picked up a Dollar Store broom and some red tickets (see photo to the right) for Katie at lunchtime today. I opened up some of the tickets when I got home this evening and let Katie play with them. I didn’t take them all out of the package or she would have been overwhelmed (and we would have been finding them and cleaning them up for years)…
My wife and I were noticing how Katie has moved on past the stage of pushing buttons. It used to be that was her chief joy in life…push a button on a toy and see what it does. She is much more into organizing things into boxes and baskets and playing with her puzzles these days.
