Day #499 (Tue., May 17, 2011) – Our Wedding Anniversary
We were married three years ago today. I gave my wife an anniversary card today, but our present was yesterday with the lovely meal and drive around town.
This evening Katie started to dance to the Lawrence Welk show. She would toss her head back and throw her arms out and twirl around. As my wife and I clapped for her and started to mimic her she got more and more into it. Looks like we have a dancer in our midst.
Katie got into the pink cover to her “Mega Bloks Disney Princess – Build with Cinderella and Ariel Tub” (see photo to the right), so my wife got out an old diaper box for her to try out. She loved it. Looks like she is starting to have the desire to get into and play with cardboard boxes. I started to think about developing a box with hinges so that a child could get in and pull the box up around them. The sides could be fastened in place with velcro. You could have two collapsible “wings” on the side that could pop into place to hold a drink, etc.
