Day #504 (Sun., May 22, 2011) – Katie Loves Banana Bread
We had our second romp in the swimming pool this afternoon. Afterward we drained the pool. We are trying to come up with a more permanent solution to the problem. It appears that the best idea is to just cut a hole in the underlying matting that sits on the patio deck. Since there is a drainage port on the pool, once we open this port the water will just drain out of the pool and under the deck.
Katie got some water in her eyes while in the pool (see photo to the left).
I made some banana bread this afternoon. I put some raisins and cashew nuts on top…that should make it a little extra special. I gave Katie a piece and she likes it (who wouldn’t). We are giving her more and more food off of our plates these days.
Katie loves it when I bounce the blue ball off the tool chest in the patio and it bounces back to me. She laughs and laughs like it is some sore of a comedy routine.
