Day #557 (Thu., July 14, 2011) – The Spinning Tops
This evening we went to Moe’s for a quesadilla. My wife wanted to go to “Kid to Kid” Consignment in Cary so we went to the Moe’s nearby. Katie was being her charming self and a number of people were waving and smiling at her.
Katie really had fun at “Kid to Kid”. As you can see in the photo to the left there were so many toys there that she didn’t know where to start! She kept wanting to take the various balls off the shelves to play with them. There was a cute little girl there of 3 years old that Katie played with for a while. We got into the tiny spinning tops and when daddy demonstrated them to Katie she was quite fascinated with them.
Next stop was the playground off Walnut Street. We didn’t have a pail but no matter…Katie could bring rocks and sand and such to daddy via her clenched fists. We took a ball with us but Katie was not interested in balls this evening.
