Day #564 (Thu., July 21, 2011) – Lowe’s Waterfall
We took Katie to see the nurse this morning. She had to get a shot for hepatitis. She was a big girl and didn’t even cry. She is one tough kid. She weighed in at 26 lbs today.
I went to Trader Joe’s to get some groceries this afternoon. They had organic cherries so I picked up some of those. Katie is out of cheese sticks so that was next on the “get” list. In the end the bill came to over $180…ouch!
This evening we went to Moe’s for a quesadilla. Katie was her normal charming self.
Afterwards we decided to go to Lowe’s so that Katie could run around. We ended up in the garden center with all the flowers…but Katie was almost automatically attracted to the sound of the water (see photo to the left) on the various waterfalls (of course she had to put her hand in each of them). She got a great kick out of taking stones out of one of them and putting them into another one. It got to be a bit messy so we decided to pick her up and take her to another end of the store (of course she wandered back).
