Day #580 (Sat., Aug 6, 2011) – Rained Like Mad
It rained like mad this morning. I had to go out to the patio and fix the gutter system as it started to leak.
We forgot to call my mother today. We will do a Skype with her tomorrow.
My mother-in-law and I took Katie to the “Dragon Park” this evening. It was real hot. Katie was not drinking very much, and I was scared she might get heat stroke, so I wrapped it up early (after about 45 minutes). I was dripping wet…it was very hot and humid. Katie did have some fun… We made a little castle (see photo to the right) with the moist sand and she got a nice swing (something that she seems to enjoy more and more each day).
My mother-in-law has taken over bathing duties of Katie so this gives me some more free time.
