Day #608 (Sat., Sept 3, 2011) – Organic Raisins/Cheese/Cracker Pieces

Katie started to cry this morning around 5am. As I was getting up to go get her she suddenly stopped crying. As it turns out my mother-in-law was up and she went and got her. I tried to go back to bed but could not sleep.

One thing that is interesting about the Cary train station we went to yesterday is the bronze statue out front (see photo to the left). It is a life-size depiction of someone who used to work for the railroad.

My mother-in-law and I took Katie to the play park near Bond Lake. There are a lot of Eastern Europeans there from time-to-time so she might meet someone she can talk to in Lithuanian. Katie still had a desire to go to the swings, but we did manage to take her to the slide and the sandbox for a bit.

My mother-in-law had just gone to bed when Katie started to rustle in her crib. At 11pm I took her out and started to play with her. I made her some warm milk and a mixture of organic raisins/cheese/cracker pieces. I tried to put her to bed at 12:30am…but she is still rustling. I bet I will have to go get her soon…
