Day #611 (Tue., Sept 6, 2011) – “No Way”
I was up early with Katie again this morning. I was so tired that I laid down on the couch for a few minutes as she brought me her crayons to “patch”. As soon as my mother-in-law got up I left Katie with her and went to bed. She later told me that Katie played for a bit and when she asked her if she wanted to go to bed she ran down to her bedroom door. It’s easy to put her to sleep when she wants to go.
Katie has learned to say “No Way”. Like if you ask her does she want to go to bed she will say “No Way”.
No wall is safe from Katie’s Crayons as you can tell in the photo to the right.
When Katie comes to see me in the bedroom she will often put her head down on the mattress and go “shoo shoo” and then say “sheep”. Translating it into English she is making the sound that I do when I’m pretending I’m snoring, and then says “sleep”.
I got a bit of time to start cleaning up the garage today. I’m going to move the freezer over to near the HVAC…that will give me more room for the shelving units.
