Day #648 (Thu., Oct 13, 2011) – Counting 1, 2, 3…
Katie slept through the night. She didn’t even “chipmunk” much which made it quite easy on daddy.
The photo to the right shows an assortment of Katie’s socks. The orange ones are perfect for this holiday season.
Katie was looking at a package of juice packs and said “1, 2, 3…” so she can definitely count up to 3 now.
We found some new YouTube videos this evening just before I left for the HOA meeting. One in particular, “Fruit Train” Katie found entertaining. It was basically a train like “Shape Train” (which she likes so much), but it displayed various fruits. Apple, Banana, Orange, Watermelon, etc.
When I got back from the HOA Meeting my wife was trying to put Katie to sleep. She said that she would repeat everything that she saw on the various train videos (i.e.: numbers, shapes, etc.)
Katie was dancing to the Welk “Turkey In The Straw” number this evening when she put her hands under (or near) her armpits. She was trying to make turkey wings like they were doing on the video.
