Day #656 (Fri., Oct 21, 2011) – And A Little Chipmunk Shall Lead (Mommy)…
At noon today Katie took my wife by the hand and led her to the bedroom. I guess that she is tired and wants to sleep…
My wife had to go see her adviser so tended to Katie. We drove down to the Dollar Store to pick up some supplies. They didn’t have what we wanted but I was planning on getting Katie a pumpkin helium balloon. The lines were huge so we left with nothing…I’ll come back later and get one for her.
We then headed to the park. It was rather chilly so we dressed Katie up warmly (including orange socks in honor of the holiday season). She had plenty of fun organizing the acorns (see photo to the left) and then throwing them away. She managed to spot a squirrel and chased it all around the playground. I think that the squirrels are gathering nuts for the winter so they didn’t climb up the trees and scurry away.
