Day #660 (Tue., Oct 25, 2011) – Helium Pumpkin Jack-O-Lantern Balloon
Katie wanted a juice pack this morning. I showed her how to use a straw a while back and she took right to it.
I drove my wife to Trader Joe’s and we picked up some groceries. We then went to the Dollar Store to pick up some more supplies. We got a helium pumpkin Jack-O-Lantern balloon (see photo to the right) for Katie while we were there.
This evening I was showing Katie some videos of fast trains and explained this to Katie. She replied “fast train”, so she is getting it.
Remember that new bookcase which now houses Katie’s toy and books? Well, I think I might have to secure it to the wall. She has taken to shaking it in order to get the plush animals on the top shelf to fall to the ground.
Katie took a bowl of grapes and blackberries to our bedroom this evening to watch Oswald. When I checked on her a while later they were thrown all over the bed. Gonna be an interesting sleep tonight.
