Day #661 (Wed., Oct 26, 2011) – Rope On The Trampoline

My wife had her “Final Oral Presentation” for her PhD in Biostatistics at 8:30am at Rosenau Hall 101. The title, “Estimation and Testing of Parameters under Constraints for Correlated Data”.

As Ramona took Katie out for a walk this morning she said “Say Good-Bye to Daddy”. Katie responded “Bye Daddy”…

Katie was very fussy this evening so we decided to go out to eat. There is this Mexican Restaurant in Apex that we like, and we have an Entertainment Book coupon for, so off we went. Katie sat next to daddy and had some tortilla chips. I put some salsa on it and she felt it was a bit too hot…and told me so. She didn’t eat much and ended up roaming around the restaurant…with either my wife or I in tow.

We were planning on driving around the neighborhood to see some Halloween decorations but Katie was so fussy that we just came home. Katie wanted to jump so I set up a rope on her trampoline so that she could hold onto it while she jumped away. I originally put a swimming noodle through the rope, but settled on putting the huge Dollar Store crayon through it (see photo to the left). Let’s see if that helps her to jump better and more often when mommy and daddy are busy.

WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
