Day #741 (Sat., Jan. 14, 2012) – Assembling The Baby Doll Crib
I bought some tuna from Trader Joe’s the other day and my wife cooked it last night. Katie seems to like it. I’ll have to keep that in mind…it can be hard to find things that she likes to eat sometimes.
I’m starting my new job on Tuesday so I want to try and get the baby doll crib done before that date. I know that it will be hard to find time from then on (not that it’s easy to find free time now). Here’s what I did today (see photo to the left):
1) I “ironed” the trim on top of the various plywood pieces and trimmed off the excess with an exact-o-knife.
2) I put wood filler onto rough spots in the headboard and footboard.
3) I screwed/glued the main bed platform and footings and sides.
Football is on television tonight but I’m not sure how long I will be able to watch it on the big screen tv. My wife is working in the bedroom downstairs so I’m effectively “taking care of Katie”. She is watching various television programs in the main bedroom but I suspect she will want to watch Caillou on the big screen tv sometime soon.
