Day #767 (Thu., Feb. 9, 2012) – Night Out For Two
Katie has a new hobby…putting beads on doorknobs. You can see her efforts in the photo to the left.
Four years ago tonight I asked my wife to marry me. In celebration of this anniversary we decided that we would go out to dinner…just the two of us. We had our babysitter Ramona take care of Katie while we went to an Indian Restaurant in Morrisville. We had a Groupon Coupon for it so we were able to save a few dollars.
It was nice to be able to get away and relax a bit. Katie was with us at this same restaurant last year but she was much less active. I remember that she was just starting to walk and loved to stare at our Indian waiter. She was also into the rice as my wife gave her a dish of it and she would pick at the grains and eat them.
When we got home Katie was glad to see us. Of course she greeted us with her customary hello greeting… “Let’s Play Bears”.
