Day #929 (Fri., July 20, 2012) – Duplo Blocks
Katie had a nightmare or something so she was up early this morning and woke us up in the process.
At lunchtime today I went to the Dollar Store and got Katie a collection of Winnie The Pooh and Mickey Mouse figurines. Since she is starting to play with dollhouses they will come in handy.
My wife went to the big consignment sale at the NC State Fairgrounds today. She usually goes on Sunday as the stuff is cheaper, but by going today she got a greater selection. She got Katie a lot of Duplo Blocks (i.e.: Legos for younger children). She even got her a Duplo garbage truck (see photo to the left). Katie loves her Duplo…
This evening I crashed soon after I got home from work. My wife took Katie to our neighbors’ Brian and Susan’s place as they have a daughter of Katie’s age. When they got back Katie woke me up so it was my turn to tend to Katie while my wife went to bed.
11pm and I put Katie to bed. She is playing with Duplo Blocks in her crib (quite the racket I might add) but hopefully she will be sleeping soon.
