We received a Duplo Zoo Platform in the mail today (see photo to the right).
Katie wanted to go for a walk this evening but my wife didn’t feel like walking so we bundled up Katie and went to YoPop for some “Frozen Yogurt”. In this way Katie will get out and we won’t have to chase after her as much.
Katie likes to be able to be able to pick out what color of spoon she wants at YoPop and which particular container as well. All went well until she accidentally dropped some of the frozen yogurt toppings on the floor.
Katie wanted to go say hi to a couple of children in the store but wanted mommy to join her. She is not totally bold…she does have her shy moments. She proceeded to show them the wall…not sure what that was all about?
As we were exiting the store Katie saw a little doggie and we had to go say hi. She cried when the people eventually took it away.
Next stop was the elementary school playground down the street. She went down the highest slide in the playground…this child is practically fearless.
For some reason Katie and I got to eating imaginary vegetables in our tent (comforter on the bed). We start off with carrots and then work down to watermelon and blueberries. Her imagination is starting to pick up…
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
