Day #936 (Fri., July 27, 2012) – The 2012 Summer Olympics
This evening we took Katie to CiCi’s Pizza in Durham. A cheap meal and Katie got the chance to go and burn off some energy. It was raining afterwards so we went shopping in T.J. Maxx. When we emerged from the store there was a beautiful rainbow (see photo to the right)…you could see the beginning and the end.
The 2012 Summer Olympics in London England open today. This will be Katie’s first Summer Olympic Games. We wonder if she will really enjoy the gymnastics. She sure loves this sport in real life.
Katie likes it when I make small little “pancakes” out of the Play Doh. We made a number of them this evening on the master bed while we watched a bit of the Olympics.
