Day #1111 (Fri., Jan. 18, 2013) – A Light Dusting
When we woke up this morning there was a light dusting of snow on the ground (see photo to the left). It could have been a lot worse, but since it was a fast moving storm we were spared the brunt of the system. Having said that, there is at least enough snow that Katie will be able to have some fun…
After all of the festivities last night Katie didn’t get up til 10:24am this morning.
My wife tried to put Katie to bed at 2:30pm this afternoon, but Katie was having no part of it. Here’s how the chat went:
What are you doing on me? You are smelling me! … Nice to meet you. You too!
By 3pm Katie was calling out for my wife and so she went to her room to check. There was a massive “poopy” diaper on the floor…which Katie had already taken off of course. By 3:16pm she was back in bed…
The end result of all this? No nap for Katie today…
My wife wanted me to stop off at Whole Foods on the way home to pick up a case of goat’s milk and a box of organic apple juice. If you get a whole case they give you 10% off.
Since Katie did not have a nap this afternoon she finally did go to bed early this evening. Around 8pm to be exact. Let’s hope that this means she will be back on a bit of a more “normal” schedule now…
