Day #1260 (Sun., Jun 16, 2013) – Father’s Day
Katie was up quite a bit during the night. My wife was exhausted so when she finally got up around 5am I took over. We started off painting a bit with the Spiderman Paint Set I gave her the other day. Soon we were watching “Iron Giant”, a movie I recorded for her. While she was watching it I went to the bedroom to work on the computer but she called me back. She said: “I want you to sit here on the chair so I can see you. I don’t want you to get lost”. Eventually I put her to bed at 6:45am…
Today is Father’s Day. My wife gave me a “Pick Maker”…it makes guitar picks out of old credit cards (see photo to the left). She was going to get Katie to do a card for daddy but with her being sick that plan fell to the wayside.
We took Katie to the doctor at 12:10pm. He said she is fine…those anti-biotics didthe trick.
Katie didn’t have a nap today. Boy she has plenty of energy…even after being sick!
Eventually Katie and I started playing with squirt guns out on the patio. This progressed into chasing daddy around inside the house.
