Day #1320 (Thu., Aug. 15, 2013) – Bathroom By Herself
The photo to the left shows a cute outfit that my wife picked out for Katie at the consignment sale this past Saturday.
Stephanie has another interview today. We think that she liked us but a lot will depend on how this interview goes. We hope she comes to work for us. We liked her so much that we asked her if she would mind working 5 days a week as opposed to the three days we talked about last night.
Izzi home with Katie from 1:30-4pm. My wife was at a meeting and Izzy stayed with Katie til my wife came home.
For some reason Katie is getting more and more into the mode of “bring me this”. If she is in one room she will ask us to go to another room and get her “mesh” (pink blankets) or “sooshe” (pacifier). Sometimes she will ask us to bring this to her when it is right beside her.
Katie is gradually getting to the stage where she will go to the bathroom by herself. As she says “She’s a big girl now”. Sometimes she wants my wife and I to tag along…but more and more she is willing to go by herself.
