Take a look at the pretty chalk drawings on our driveway (see photo to the right).
When I got home from work this evening Katie was sleeping in the LazyBoy…she was plain exhausted. This leaves us with a dilemma as if we let her sleep she will wake up late in the evening and be prowling around all morning. If we wake her then she will probably be fussy. In the end we woke her around 6pm…
I went to bed early this evening and my wife woke me just after 10pm…time for daddy’s shift. We were able to get TiVo working on the television in the living room. Now that we have NetFlix I started to download some movies for Katie to watch. One of them was the “Care Bears Movie”. She enjoyed watching that this evening. As it was so long I had to interrupt it 1/2 way through and put Caillou on. She objected at first but as she likes Caillou she soon was engaged in that show.
Katie really misses Octonauts, her favorite show as of late. Now that we are getting rid of cable we will not have access to it. Luckily we found it on YouTube, and since our Series 3 TiVo can show YouTube videos we are back in business…
I’ve been trying to pump Katie with food all evening but she just was not too interested. A bit of an apple, some milk, a few cheerios. Just after midnight she expressed a desire for a banana so I gave that to her. She munched about 1/4 of a banana and then brought it to me saying she was full. She then grabbed her “meshies” (i.e.: sleeping sacks) and marched off to bed. She was out by 12:45am…
