Day #1454 (Fri., Dec. 27, 2013) – Medicine For The Kitties
Another trip to the vet for the kittens today (see photo to the left). Robin is 5 lbs now…a bit more than Batman. While Batman ate his “medicine-laced-pill” no problem, Robin just ate the meat and left the medicine. As a result Robin had to be “force fed”. When my wife told the veterinarian that we thought Katie would be a vet she just laughed.
When my wife got home she was so tired that she went to bed. Katie woke her up after a bit very excited…she gave the kittens some more medicine. Luckily she just opened my wife’s purse and put the packets next to the kittens…the pills were safely inside. Katie just loves to assist and help animals…but sometimes she can go just a bit too far.
This evening Katie wanted some pancakes so my wife made them for her. When she was done she left the plate in the master bedroom and came out to see us in the living room. When my wife asked her how much she ate Katie replied that she left three pieces. When my wife went to pick up the plate sure enough, only three pieces were left. That’s out of a total of about a dozen pancakes. This child has a remarkable memory…
