Day #1534 (Mon., Mar. 17, 2014) – St. Patrick’s Day
It’s St. Patrick’s Day at Katie’s school and my wife dressed her up in a green outfit that she picked up at the consignment sale the other day. When I got home from work this evening Katie was fascinated with leprechauns. I guess the teacher told them what sneaky little creatures they were.
At noon today I stopped off for a workout and went to Trader Joe’s as well. We are running low on strawberries and bananas. I picked up a bouquet of roses for my wife as well (see photo to the right).
My wife had an upset stomach this evening so I tended to Katie. We read some stories and watched a bit of a Tinkerbell movie. I brought her a dish of “all sorts of things” and she mentioned how much she loved the pumpkin seeds so I got her another handful. Before I knew it Katie was in the bedroom waking up my wife.
