Day #1581 (Sat., May 3, 2014) – Our Little TV Star
The first Saturday of every May is “Comic Book Day”. I stopped off at the local comic book store and picked up a selection for Katie and I to read (see photo to the left).
My wife took Katie to Umstead Park this morning and then to the new KidZoo at the mall. While they were there a cameraman was taking video for an upcoming television show. So, I guess we can now say that Katie is going to be a television star (somewhat).
This evening Katie and I were playing with the “Search And Find” book and she understood what I meant by “Top and Left” and “Bottom and Right”. She picks up things fast. NOTE: She made some mistakes with this exercise later on so maybe it’s not as “nailed down” as I had thought.
Katie is really into the movie and book “Frozen”. This evening she started to sing along with the song “Let It Go” on YouTube.
