Day #1587 (Fri., May 9, 2014) – Mommy’s Birthday
Everett dropped off the sketch for the screened porch he is going to build for us. It looks quite nice on paper. Now to figure out a way to pay for it… I don’t like going into debt but if we don’t do this now we probably never will.
It’s my wife’s birthday today and I took her to lunch at Lucha Tigre down the street. It’s quite the restaurant, but you would never know it from the outside. You can see what my wife had to eat in the photo to the right. I had General Tso’s Chicken Bowl and a Chinese beer.
This evening I was lying down on the couch and Katie got up and jumped on me. I let out a yell and she ran away crying. She came up and apologized later. It was quite the pounding.
